In the field of Social Work, one of the pivotal roles that professionals take on is that of a "service broker" for their clients. These dedicated individuals assist in identifying resources that align with the unique needs of their clients and guide them through the complexities of service systems. In my newly assumed position at Community Pathways, I am fortunate to engage in a similar undertaking for both our new and existing members.

Our commitment at Community Pathways extends to continuously seeking and cultivating partnerships with various non-profit organizations, community resources, businesses, and individuals capable of offering services that complement the capabilities of Community Pathways. As the Community Navigator, my role enables me to allocate additional time to engage with our members, discuss their needs comprehensively, and diligently research diverse resources and services for them to connect with and utilize. My primary aim is to empower these individuals and families, fostering their self-determination and self-advocacy. In my capacity as an agent of change, I collaborate closely with our members to identify solutions, particularly in areas where they might encounter challenges on their own.
